About this event

Gravita invites you to join a webinar on Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, the first phase of which takes effect from 6th April 2026 for those with gross self-employed and/or property income above £50,000, and what it means for those coming into scope from 6th April 2027, with qualifying gross income above £30,000.

Co-hosted byMatt Oldfield, Private Client Director, andDan Rozzell, Outsourced Finance Associate Manager, this session will cut through the detail and focus on what matters: who is affected, what needs to be filed, when it needs to be filed, and how to approach it in a way that suits your circumstances.

This session is designed for:

  • Landlords and sole-traders with qualifying income approaching the 2026 threshold
  • Those who expect to fall within scope from April 2027
  • Anyone who wants clarity on how quarterly reporting will work in practice

The aim is to leave you with a clear view of your position and a realistic next step.

What to expect:

  • What Making Tax Digital is and why it is being introduced
  • Key dates and income thresholds for 2026 and 2027
  • What reporting looks like in practice: quarterly updates, year-end finalisation and the interaction with self-assessment
  • Exemptions, elections and deferrals that may be available
